First created in 1945, distilled from a mash of at least 80% corn, hence its distinctive yellowcolour and iconic bright yellow retro label. It remained obscure and largely forgotten outside ofKentucky until about 2010, when whiskey lovers and bartenders rediscovered it, and now itboasts a huge fanbase and even its own subreddit.
